TALL SHIPS

Over the past ten years I have traveled on numerous vessels. My favourite journeys were on tall ships, they offered a more profound experience, and a greater feeling of adventure.  Exposure to the open sea and natural elements disrupts the established routine, prompting one to confront unfamiliar situations and accept new difficulties.  I have traveled aboard tall ships in the Atlantic, Mediterranean, South Aegean, Tyrrhenian, and Adriatic Seas, as well as the Southern Ocean. The latter being the most adventurous. Strong gusts, large waves, and navigation around icebergs were very invigorating and provided great opportunities for photography.

SEA CLOUD

Being aboard SEA CLOUD was like stepping back in time, worshiping the Gods and having a taste of a sailor's life. Renamed and owned several times, SEA CLOUD, built in 1931 in Kiel, has an incredible past history with a few dark chapters.
